Housing Programs
Pike County offers mortgage assistance, rental assistance and temporary rental subsidy to assist low-to moderate income individuals and families.
Through the Pike County Emergency Rental Assistance Program, renters may be eligible for up to 12 months of assistance with rent and utilities.
Applicants must be below 80% of the County area median income.
Applicants must have experienced a reduction of income due to COVID- 19 from March 13, 2020, and be able to provide documentation of loss of income OR must have qualified for unemployment benefits OR incurred significant financial hard- ship due to COVID-19.
Mortgage Assistance
If you are a homeowner who is behind in mortgage payments because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Pike county has a program to assist you.
Pike County can provide income-eligible renters with up to three months of mortgage assistance. This program is for households with income below 80% of the area median. If you income is more than this amount, you may be eligible for the PA Homeownership Assistance Fund.
Temporary Rental Subsidy Program
The Pike County Temporary Rental Subsidy Program (TRSP) is a new way to help low- to moderate income renters in Pike County through a monthly rental subsidy, case management, and financial counseling.
Applicants must:
